Plot.
Ana, a fifty years old woman falls into a depression when her husband leaves her. One day she decides to go out of this depression and starts changes from the outside to the inside. With the wakeness of desire she starts a process in wich she rediscovers her new sexuality.

The desire is a Mexican short film directed by Marie Benito on her own screenplay, which premiered in 2008 and featured Keyla Wood, Paloma Woolrich and Manuel Montiel. The short film was exhibited at the Pune International Film Festival, India; at Cineforo Guadalajara, at the Lebu International Film Festival, Chile; at the Toronto, Canada World Short Film Festival, in CortoCircuito, the 2009 Latin Short Film Festival, at the Cannes International Film Festival, where she competed for the Golden Palm, where she had good acceptance for criticism during her official screening and was awarded by El Abrazo del Cortometraje at the 2008 Biarritz Film and Culture Festival of Latin America.
