Plot.
Three friends of former schoolmates and brave sixty-eights meet together, after a twenty-year, in the villa of one of their wives, Giulia, for a celebratory return on the occasion of the television replica of the famous football match Italy-Germany held at the World Cup in Mexico City. Giulia was the most ambitious of the school, but the luck of having her as a wife is touched by Francis, son of the villa's guardian, now esteemed bank leader; Federico, the most adventurous of the three, is a successful advertiser, remaining a glamorous bachelor; the least fortunate seems Antonio, now a middle school teacher, rather severe and demanding for his sixty-eights, having "right" to the "6 politician." The adventure of a couple of years of undeserved jail, for a mootov launched recklessly by a friend, has also frustrated him.
