Plot.

A young man, Lagardère, discovers that a plot is afoot to assassinate the Duke of Nevers. He warns him and flees with his daughter, Aurore. Fifteen years pass. Lagardère has raised Aurore as his own, but her mother seeks her out and has her abducted by her men. With the help of two friends, Lagardère rescues the girl and confronts her kidnappers.

Lagardère is a French mini-series in six episodes of 50 minutes, created by Marcel Jullian according to the novel Le Bossu de Paul Féval, and some of the sequels imagined by Paul Féval filho (Les chevauchées de Lagardère, Mariquita). It was produced by Jean-Pierre Decourt and broadcasted from September 20, 1967 to October 25, 1967 on the first channel of the ORTF.In Quebec, it was broadcast from July 27, 1970 to August 31, 1970 on Radio-Canada Television.
