Wiki.
Aquarela do Brasil (known as Watercolor of Brazil) is a seven-minute American animated short film, presented in Greetings Friends, the sixth Disney Studio animated feature, released in 1942. It is part of the fourth and last segment of Greetings Friends, and shows, for the first time, the character of the parrot Zé Carioca, created specifically for this film. The drawing shows Zé Carioca presenting the samba, through the songs "Aquarela do Brasil" and "Tico-Tico no Fubá", and the cachaça to the Donald Duck on his visit to Brazil. To develop the minifilm, Disney designers, including Walt Disney himself, traveled to Rio de Janeiro. Flashes of the artists' visit to the city are shown before the beginning of the drawing in the feature film. The production of the drawing is related to the efforts of the United States to bring together allies during the Second World War, released separately (1939-1945), the effort of the "Filse" was known as the "Filse".
