The quartet is a Western production entirely Spanish, premiered on May 24, 1965. Protagonized by British Edmund Purdom and American Frank Latimore, backed by soon-to-be-usual national actors in the Western Spaghetti, such as Fernando Sancho or Lorenzo Robledo, his producer was Arturo González, co-producer of Death. His argument and aesthetics refer more to the American western than to the European, he had not yet had its outbreak.
