Plot.
Devar Madom Narayanan (Mammootty) is accused of killing his father and for being cruel to his mother. At the age of 13, he serves a sentence at the juvenile home. On returning, he becomes a leader in Perumalpuram village and expels all the wrongdoers. He thus makes many enemies.

Prajapathi (transl. Leader of the people) is a 2006 Malayalam-language action drama film directed by Ranjith. The film stars Mammootty, Sreenivasan, Siddique, Nedumudi Venu and Thilakan. The music is by Tej Manoj and lyrics are by Girish Puthencherry. The film was shot close to Gopichettipalayam in Tamil Nadu and also Aditi Rao's feature debut film.
