The Bible Code is a 2008 German-Austrian-French adventure film. It was first broadcast on September 1 and 2, 2008 by ProSieben and ORF. The film was broadcast in a play on ProSieben on September 15, 2009, based on the controversial non-fiction book of the same name by American journalist Michael Drosnin and his theory that the original Hebrew text of the Bible (the Tanakh) should contain a hidden interval code with which one can discover predictions about the future by means of a mathematical procedure.
