Plot.
A psychic housewife and her husband accidentally find a kidnapped girl. But instead of informing the police, they hatch a scheme to get famous by working with the police as a psychic consultant to "find" the girl. And then, things start to go terribly wrong.

Séance (降霊, Kōrei) is a 2000 Japanese made-for-TV horror film directed by Kiyoshi Kurosawa, starring Kōji Yakusho, Jun Fubuki and Tsuyoshi Kusanagi. It is based on the 1961 novel Séance on a Wet Afternoon by Mark McShane, which was also the basis for the 1964 film of the same title.
