Plot.

Charming Mimi-Trottin is in love with typographer Louis Chausson, nicknamed Godasse. She meets Doudou, actually a Vicomte, estranged with his parents who are rich automobile manufacturers. Godasse abandons Mimi because of his professional ambitions and Doudou rescues her from a suicide. After making peace with his parents, the young man has Mimi hired as a typist at the factory. After winning a race with one of his father's car, he soon wins the heart and the hand of Mimi.

Twenty Years later it is a ten-episode French silent film directed by Henri Diamant-Berger, released in 1922.It is the sequel (adapted from the novel of the same title, Twenty Years later, by Alexander Dumas), of the Three Musketeers whose Diamant-Berger shot a version filmed the previous year, in 1921. To interpret the main character (d'Artagnan), Jean Yonnel replaces Aimé Simon-Girard, and Marguerite Moreno succeeds Jeanne Desclos in the role of Anne d'Austria. Henri Rollan (Athos), Charles Martinelli (Porthos), Pierre de Guingand (Aramis) and Armand Bernard (Planchet) find the characters they played in Les Trois Mousquetaires.
