Plot.
Italian film set in the 19th century. A kind of Italian Zorro during the last days of Bourbon domination. The count of S. Elmo by day is a cut down gentleman who spends time chasing Neapolitan dancers, at night is the masked knight who heads the local coal. The Count of Saint Elmo (Italian: Il Conte di Sant'Elmo) is a 1950 historical adventure film directed by Guido Brignone and starring Massimo Serato, Anna Maria Ferrero and Tino Buazzelli. It was shot at the Farnesina Studios of Titanus in Rome. The film's sets were designed by the art director Ottavio Scotti.
