Bindaas (transl. Independent) is a Kannada language action comedy film directed by D. Rajendra Babu from a story written by Janardhan Maharshi, and produced by M.Chandrashekar. The film stars Puneeth Rajkumar, Hansika Motwani, Nassar, Suman and Komal. This is Hansika's only Kannada film.
Bindaas was released on 15 February 2008 and became a commercial success at the box office. It was dubbed in Telugu as Pandugadu, in Hindi as Be Happy Bindaas, and in Bhojpuri as Baazi. It was also reported to have been dubbed in Malayalam. The film was remade in Bhojpuri in 2012 as Hero making it the first Kannada movie to be remade in Bhojpuri.
