It is the story of a woman (Ornella Muti) who is suddenly abandoned by her lover and mentor, the famous Italian writer Emilio Flora (nominated for a Nobel Prize). During the last three years, this man, considerably greater than her, has spent most of his time educating her in art, literature and science, and love. Now that she's gone, the woman must try to understand why. She is the only one that takes place in the small house they shared. Her external connections are only with the phone.
