Freddy and the song of the South Seas is a 1962 German hit film starring Freddy Quinn. The sailor Freddy travels with his friends Hein and Hannes in the South Seas on a freighter when he learns that he has inherited a beach house on a small island near Tahiti, which belonged to his uncle who has been missing for years. However, the house seems to contain some secrets. Even the new neighbour Siebzehnstern turns out to be an obscure contemporary. But with the help of a mysterious "magic bottle" all wishes of a carefree South Sea life seem to be fulfilled.
