In the Rome of the sixties, Roberto, a singer in search of affirmation, puts in crisis his relationship with the girlfriend Lia for Serenella, whose father could help him in climbing to success. An audition and the recording of the first album are enough to transform into tragedy a love story close to marriage: while Roberto is blinded by the fame, in fact, Lia threatens to kill himself. They will be the visitors of the Caciotta Club, the place where the musicians most loved by young people perform, to prevent the extreme gesture of the girl.
