On the lake of Bolsena there are going to be motorboat races, in which Marco participates, who lives with sister Laura. Laura knows Stefano that making her believe that she loves the violent and the girl, desperate, dies drowned. The next morning Marco goes in search of Stefano, fleeing with his car and, found him, beats him to death. Marco is arrested and prosecuted; despite the requests of the Public Ministry Dr. Berti, the conviction is mild precisely for the reasons of honor and provocation behind the death of Stefano. But Rossana is the daughter of Dr. Berti, who discovers this, prevents the daughter from seeing Marco. Marco wins a motorboat race, and meets Rossana to celebrate. The magistrate surprises them and tries to kill Marco but realizes that he has found himself in the same situation that Marco found himself defending his sister, understands his mistake and gives his consent to the two young people.
