The TV film Die Auslösung is an Austrian production with the participation of the television stations ORF and SWR from 2013. The drama tells of the late great love of a restorer (Martina Gedeck) and an art historian (Klaus Maria Brandauer).Happiness seems perfect until the diagnosis of Alzheimer's meets him and the lives of the two slowly, but continuously, changed.The TV first broadcast was on ORF 2 on 13 February 2013, on German television on 3 May in SWR The ARD followed with its first appearance on 8 May 2013. The film had its pre-première at the Wiener Künstlerhauskino on 31 January 2013.
