Plot.
March 1941: In the border area between Yugoslavia and Austria, which has been part of "Great Germany" since 1938: Until now the Slovenian landowner Alexander Osvatitsch and his German wife Vera have never seen themselves in danger. But when their region is also plagued by clashes between Serbs and People's Germans, Vera, her German-born, decides against persecution.
