The road to the death of the old Reales is a documentary film of Argentina filmed in black and white directed by Gerardo Vallejo according to his own script written in collaboration with Pino Solanas and Octavio Getino that was produced between 1968 and 1971 and premiered on April 10, 1974. They appear in the film Gerardo Ramón Reales and his sons Ángel, Mariano and Pibe, as well as their families and friends and neighbors from the localities of Acheral, Santa Lucía, Caspichango and Famaillá. The film is accompanied by two annexes, one with data and images from the province of Tucumán and another with a chronicle of the struggle of the local peasants.
