Plot.
The story is about a company president Zenzo Shinozaki who is successful in his business but has no friends or family to speak of. He ends up hiring hostess turned thief Saori Yamane to drive him to Tokyo to visit his daughter that he has not seen in 30 years. While both have their own reasons to isolate themselves from the rest of the world, they find a connection which helps bring them in touch with each other and themselves.

Gift is a 2014 film directed by Tarō Miyaoka.It is the first production of the M Cinema project, which previews the distribution of films produced initially only at regional level and, based on the success achieved and the public's feedback, the subsequent distribution at national level.It is the first film work of the director Tarō Miyaoka and it is also the debut as protagonist actress for Rena Matsui, the latter known above all for being one of the most popular members of the idol group SKE48.
