Plot.
Clementino is a postman who doesn't have much talent for the job and is six months behind in the payment of his apartment. While delivering a correspondence, he is kidnapped by a masked bandit, but manages to escape, and ends up helping the police in the capture of the whole gang, getting a lot of money as reward.

The King of the Movement is a 1954 Brazilian musical comedy film, co-written and directed by Victor Lima and Hélio Barroso for Cinelândia Filmes with distribution of Cinedistri and UCB. Music by Radamés Gnatalli and musical numbers appear Angela Maria, Emilinha Borba and the Marines Band, Lúcio Alves (singing on TV "Valsa de una ciudad", with images from Rio de Janeiro accompanying the song), Blecaute and School of Samba Unido da Capela, in addition to Ankito (who stars the film) who sings a samba next to Mulata Stela.
