Plot.
Dr. Danwitz is an appointed physician. The intern practically works day and night on a research project, but without payment. His wife Edith earns the necessary small change as a mannequin. Therefore, her pregnancy represents a financial disaster for the young couple. Dr. Danwitz, a heavy-duty woman, asks for an illegal abortion, for which she would pay well. The doctor must make a serious decision.

Danwitz) is a 1956 West German drama film directed by Arthur Maria Rabenalt and starring Marianne Koch, Karlheinz Böhm and Heidemarie Hatheyer.It was made at the Wandsbek Studios of the Hamburg-based Real Film.
