Plot.
Attorney Werner Radke has fallen in love with the beautiful dance soubrette Mimi. When his friend, Hans Volkmann, who is known as a heartbreaker, comes to visit, Werner fears for his chances with Mimi. In order to distract Hans von Mimi, Werner brings the friend together with his former client Ursula Heider. They even marry, but when everything comes out, they decide to divorce again, whereby Werner also loses his Mimi.

The Gentleman from Maxim's (German: Die Herren vom Maxim) is a 1933 German comedy film directed by Carl Boese and starring Lee Parry, Johannes Riemann and Oskar Karlweis.
It was shot at the Johannisthal Studios in Berlin. The film's sets were designed by the art director Gustav A. Knauer and Walter Reimann.
