The Wave (Spanish: La ola) is an upcoming musical film directed by Sebastián Lelio, from a screenplay he wrote with Manuela Infante, Josefina Fernández, and Paloma Salas. The film is inspired by 2018 Chilean feminist protests and strikes.
The film is scheduled to premiere at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival in the Cannes Premiere section.
