The forbidden paradise is one of the first German nudist films produced after 1945. Under the direction of the respected Max Nosseck, who wanted to shoot this work only under pseudonym ("Maximilian Meyer"), despite the then controversial style and several nude scenes in the shooting year 1955, a number of respected actors of those years participated, among them Günter Pfitzmann, Jan Hendriks, Wolfgang Lukschy, Ingeborg Schöner and Siegfried Schürenberg.
