Barbie and the Secret Agents (Barbie: Spy Squad in original) is a 2016 American animation film produced by Mattel Entertainment, distributed by Universal Studios and starred by the Barbie doll. It was directed by Conrad Helten, with screenplay credited to Marsha Griffin and Kacey Arnald. The story follows Barbie and her two best friends, Teresa and Renee, who draw the attention of a super-secret spy agency that invite them to enter into the case of a theft of precious stones.Barbie and the Secret Agents debuted in the cinemas of Poland on January 15, 2016 and on March 1, 2016 in the United States, being this one directly on video along with their licensed product line. In Brazil, the film premiered on April 7, 2016, being shown in cinemas exclusively by the Cinépolis network. The film contains Erica Lindbeck's voice as Barbie in original version. The feature film became the thirty-second release of Barbie's computer animated film series.
