Giovanni Improtta is a 2013 Brazilian comedy film directed and starring José Wilker. The film, which is a co-production of Magic Light with Cacá Diegues, José Wilker and Renata Magalhães, with script by Mariana Wilker and Aguinaldo Silva and based on the homonymous character written by Aguinaldo Silva, who took national fame during the novel Lady of Destiny in 2004. Andréa Beltrão, Thelmo Fernandes, Othon Bastos, Sérgio Loroza, Milton Gonçalves, Hugo Carvana, André Mattos and Jo Soares, also completes the cast.The film was released on May 17, 2013.In memory of actor José Wilker, the broadcaster Rede Globo exhibited the film on the Hot Screen program on April 7, 2014.
