Beyond the exorcism (Mal de ojo in Spain and Malocchio in its Italian title) is a co-production of Mexico, Spain and Italy; premiered in Mexico on August 17, 1978, and in Italy on February 6, 1975. His argument places the film in line with other films of diabolical terror of the 1970s, such as El exorcista (1973). He counted in his share with popular actors in the co-producing countries, such as the Mexican Jorge Rivero, the Spanish Pilar Velázquez and Eduardo Fajardo or the Italian Antonio De Teffè (protagonist of quite Spaghetti Western with the pseudonym of Anthony Steffen), in addition to a good American secondary like Richard Conte, this in one of his last appearances before the cameras.
