Mariano survives as a distributor of low-quality cassettes for road bars. One night, driving with some extra drink, he ends up with his car on a clandestine marijuana plantation that, at that time, the civil guard is about to burn. With confusion and steam hallucinogens, Mariano thinks he has seen the Virgin and thus tells it in a village close to the participants of a rogative procession for it to rain. Thanks to the care of a nun and the services of a showman, Mariano will become an illumined sanctuary overnight.
