Plot.

The ingenuity of the magician Harry Houdini and the skill of the thief Arsène Lupin. The invincible Spaventa is in town and has a lot to do. He must not only escape the police, pull his fiancee from the claws of a gang of criminals, get married, and also help to capture a gang of thieves who had the wrong to make him accuse of a theft of diamonds. The Insurmountable (German: Der Unüberwindliche) is a 1928 German silent adventure film directed by Max Obal and starring Luciano Albertini, Vivian Gibson and Paul Henckels. It was shot at the Staaken Studios in Berlin. The film's sets were designed by the art directors Botho Hoefer and Hans Minzloff.
