Plot.
Teenager Susan Turner, with a severe crush on playboy artist Richard Nugent, sneaks into his apartment to model for him and is found there by her sister Judge Margaret Turner. Threatened with jail, Nugent agrees to date Susan until the crush abates.

The film stars Cary Grant, Myrna Loy and Shirley Temple in a story about a teenager's crush on an older man.
On its release, The Bachelor and the Bobby-Soxer was received positively by audiences and critics. Sidney Sheldon won an Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay for the script.
