Wiki.
Mundo alas is an Argentinean audiovisual documentary based on a musical tour conducted between 2007 and 2008 by León Gieco together with a group of young artists with different capacities in different provinces of Argentina. The film combines music, singing, dance and painting, together with the story of the life stories of the protagonists. The name Mundo alas originates in the recital "Salón Blanco disparate", on August 25, 2006, in the Casa Rosada, where the artists placed a poster with the phrase "Pies, why do I want them if I have wings to fly?" by Frida Kahlo. Mundo alas was the name given to the tour they made by the country and to the album recorded in 2009, edited by the EMI record company.
