Love of Perdition is a film adaptation of a novel. It has Simo Botelho, Teresa de Albuquerque, and Joo da Cruz in it. It is one of the most reliable versions of the Camiliana work, having the dialogue respected almost in its entirety. The film was made by Carmen Dolores, who was only 19 years old at the time of the shoots.
