This Movie Is About.
Wiki.
Enough is a 2002 American psychological thriller film directed by Michael Apted, based on the New York Times bestselling 1998 novel Black and Blue, by Anna Quindlen. It stars Jennifer Lopez as Slim, an abused wife who learns to fight back. The film was released theatrically in the United States on May 24, 2002, and grossed $51.8 million worldwide.
The film received largely negative reviews from critics and divisive audience reviews, with criticism over the film's writing and excessive focus on melodramatic action and female empowerment over characterization, with particular reviews deeming the portrayal of domestic violence and character of Mitch as highly stereotypical. The film has been viewed more positively in retrospect, with both Lopez and Billy Campbell in particular receiving praise for their performances.
