Plot.
Madrid, at the end of the 19th century. A new neighbour, Mari Pepa, arrives in a popular neighborhood patio. Beautiful, unwrapped and risueña, soon to haunt all the men of the corrala. Only one resists. Felipe, precisely who Mari Pepa falls in love with. Meanwhile, Mari Pepa's jealous women decide to scar their husbands by providing, on a night of vervain, an appointment with "La Revoltosa". At the same time the admirers agree at Mari Pepa's door, and Felipe, who, tired of concealing his love, comes to clarify things with her. However, she must marry the persistant Don Leo to help her father, a drunk player, who has committed a robbery and pawned the family's jewels.

The Troublemaker (Spanish: La revoltosa) is a 1969 Spanish musical film directed by Juan de Orduña and starring José Sacristán, Antonio Durán and Elisa Ramírez. The film is based on the 1897 zarzuela of the same title by Carlos Fernández Shaw and José López Silva, and was the second adaptation made that decade following The Troublemaker in 1963. The film was made with the financial backing of Televisión Española.
