Bruno Franois-Boucher directed The Portuguese Letters, which was released in France on May 13, 2015. It is said to have been written by a Portuguese nun in the 17th century of the convent of Beja. At the Vincennes International Heritage Film Meetings, the Titanic International Festival of Budapest and the Alexandria International Festival for Mediterranean Countries in Egypt, the film was selected. It was shot in both Portugal and France.
