Plot.
The meeting with a young man who said he wanted to go to the Netherlands to undergo assisted suicide (see the law on euthanasia in the Netherlands and the case of Chabot 1991-95 NdR) was the initial point that inspired the plot. The boy was convinced that this was the only solution to put an end to an existence that he considered to be unworthy. An extreme, difficult to share, unpracticable position for a foreign citizen. The film begins with a dream: a raving flight on the surface of the sea, as only a gull can do. A human body that sinks into the blue, a slow rise to the surface. Man emerges, only in the middle of the sea.
