Plot.
The tranquility of a remote Armenian mountain community is disrupted when a group of shepherds affected by the pangs of an evening hunger, decide to butcher and barbecue the sheep of another's that have strayed into their herd. An official inquiry by the city police complicates matters, and questions of law, morality and community only seem to lead to further entanglements.

We and Our Mountains (Armenian: Մենք ենք, մեր սարերը, romanized: Menk’ enk’, mer sarerë; Russian: Мы и наши горы, romanized: My i nashi gory) is a 1969 Armenian comedy-drama film directed by Henrik Malyan and starring Azat Sherents, Frunzik Mkrtchyan, Sos Sargsyan and Khoren Abrahamyan. The screenplay was adapted by Hrant Matevosyan on the basis of his own novella of the same title.
