Daniel and Luís are two cadets of the General Air Academy who are also rivals in claiming the love of Elena, who is the daughter of the Colonel. Daniel performs spectacular pirouettes on Elena's house, which angers the Colonel, his father. Shortly afterwards, Daniel changes tactics and becomes an exemplary student, which unleashes the envy of Luís, who challenges him. During his return to Almería, Luís' plane burns and has to launch itself in parachute. His only chance of surviving is that Daniel manages to rescue him. But he's seriously injured.
