Shikkar (transl. The Hunt) is a 2010 Indian Malayalam-language action thriller film directed by M. Padmakumar from a story written by S. Suresh Babu and produced by K. K. Rajagopal. The film stars Mohanlal in lead role alongside Kalabhavan Mani, Samuthirakani, Lalu Alex, Ananya, Mythili, Kailash, Jagathy Sreekumar and Suraj Venjaramood in supporting roles, while Tamil actress Sneha did an extended cameo appearance. M. Jayachandran composed the soundtrack for the lyrics of Gireesh Puthenchery, while the musical score was composed by Ouseppachan. Manu Jagadh handled the art direction for the film.Shikkar was a Ramzan release on 11 September 2010, where it received mixed reviews from critics and critical praise for cinematography and Mohanlal's performance. The film became a commercial success at the box office and received the Kerala Film Critics Award for Best Popular Film.
