A three-step dance is a 2003 film written and directed by Salvatore Mereu, at the beginning of a feature film.It was successfully presented at the International Critic Week of the 60th Venice Film Festival, where it was awarded as the best film in the section.With this work Mereu first conquered David di Donatello for the best debut director, the Golden Ciak and was a candidate for the similar Silver Tape.The title refers to a typical Sardinian dance (passu and threes).
