Plot.
Ji-wol, a Buddist monk, is excommunicated because of an inappropriate affair with a female believer. He rapes and kills another woman and leaves with her ashes for the Philippines where her family lives. However, there he falls in love with her twin sister. A shocking interpretation of karma.

Fire in Hell (Korean: μ§μ₯ν; RR: Jiokhwa) is a 2012 South Korean drama film written and directed by South Korean indie provocateur Lee Sang-woo. Based on a true story, it made its world premiere at the 13th Jeonju International Film Festival and its international premiere at the 34th Moscow International Film Festival in 2012.
