The Collection is a 1976 British television film directed by Michael Apted, based on the eponymous play written by Harold Pinter in 1961. It is starring Lawrence Olivier, Alan Bates, Malcolm McDowell and Helen Mirren. It was produced by prown Lawrence Olivier for Granada Television. In 1977, the film won an Emmy International Best Drama. In the United States it was shown as a special of the television series Great Performances on PBS Channel 2.
