Jaizkibel
Plot.
In order to prepare the script of a film about suicide, a young film director interviews people who have tried to take their lives, all of them patients of his girlfriend, a young psychologist. The director will pour their experiences, thoughts and obsessions into a diary that, by chance, ends up in the hands of a painter who has suffered a loving disillusionment. Through his reading, his interest and concern for the life of the young director is increasing, to the point that he decides to go in his search. "Jaizkibel" addresses the drama of suicide and its consequences in the figure of Gorka, the young director. The multiple perspectives offered to the spectator through the narrative facilitate mature reflection, but not pessimistic, crude, but not hopeless, realistic, but not morbid, of the ultimate motives of the one who decides to take his life, as well as the most direct consequences on the most immediate environment of the suicide.
