Wiki.

The film Das Goebbels-Experiment from 2005 deals with the life of the war criminal Joseph Goebbels (1897–1945). The screenplay by Lutz Hachmeister (director) and Michael Kloft uses exclusively the diary records of the Hitler confidant, the Gauleiter of Berlin and the Nazi chief propagandist. This distinguishes the film from Morgenthaler's extensive documentary Joseph Goebbels, published in 2004.The documentary uses film recordings and photos from the time and does without commentators and contemporary witnesses. Udo Samel speaks the Goebbels role. Kenneth Branagh is a narrator in the English-language version. The title of the film was taken from the book of the same name by Derrick Sington and Arthur George Weidenfeld (later named), which appeared in Great Britain in 1942.
