The enthusiasm is a 1998 Franco-Spanish-Chilean co-production of a dramatic genre, released on December 25, 1998 in Chile, September 3, 1999 in Spain and April 26, 2000 in France. It was directed by Ricardo Larraín and the protagonists of the main roles were Carmen Maura, Maribel Verdú, Álvaro Rudolphy and Álvaro Escobar. For his role in this film Álvaro Rudolphy was nominated as best actor in the 1st edition of the Altazor Awards, held in March 2000.
