Plot.
Before the police station in Ober-Himmelbrunn is dissolved, the local landlord reports a burglary. The young gendarme Thaler is assigned to solve the case. Disguised as a holidaymaker, he goes to work. In the process, he conquers the hearts of twelve attractive girls who want to spend their holidays in an alpine hut.

Twelve Girls and One Man (German: Zwölf Mädchen und ein Mann) is a 1959 Austrian comedy film directed by Hans Quest and starring Toni Sailer, Margit Nünke and Gunther Philipp.
It was shot at the Rosenhügel Studios in Vienna. The film's sets were designed by the art directors Theodor Harisch and Fritz Jüptner-Jonstorff.
