Appooppan (also known as Charithram Aavarthikkunnilla before release) (transl. Grandfather) is a 1976 Indian Malayalam-language film, directed by P. Bhaskaran, starring Thikkurissy Sukumaran Nair, Jayabharathi, Sumithra and Kamal Haasan. The film was a remake of the Telugu film Tata Manavadu.
