Plot.
In a village in the Catalan Pyrenees there are two centuries old houses: the rich Can Pujalt and the ruinous Can Xanot, where a girl named Xana is born. When Xana gets older, one day she is attacked by a tramp, but the heir of the Pujalt saves her and both fall passionately in love.
