Shortly after the Unification War, a young Alliance pilot transports an Alliance diplomat through deep space. Unknown to the pilot, the passenger is hiding secrets of her own and is in possession of a weapon that could destroy the Alliance government once and for all. The Pilot learns that the line between the government and Browncoat (independence fighter who lost the war) is not always clean, and that loyalty and compassion cast long shadows.
