Plot.
18th century Diego Corrientes (Pedro Terol) is a famous bandit from Sierra Morena, whom a novel called "that lord of the serranía, the one who robbed the rich and defended the poor." In his militia "El Renegao" (Jesus Castro Blanco), a sinister type who tries to force Rosario (Blanquita Gil), the daughter of the Marquise of Fuenteclara, during the assault on a stage. Diego escorts the ladies to his house in Seville and falls in love with the girl. Lieutenant Bellido (Federico Gandía) also pretends to He organizes his kidnapping with the help of "El Renegao" with the intention of Diego Corrientes being charged with the kidnapping. Meanwhile, Diego tries to obtain the pardon in order to be able to marry Rosario.
